Thomas Gil Proctor, Ph.D., 85, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, passed away Jan. 17, 2018. He was a professor of mathematical sciences. In 1998, he retired, but continued working for the university part-time until 2005. He had 33 years of service.
Proctor is survived by his brother, sister, family and friends.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 19 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home Chapel.
