Please help us congratulate Cheng Sun! The White House has announced Dr. Sun has been selected for the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers. The award is the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. government on outstanding scientists and engineers early in their careers. Dr. Sun is an associate professor with a joint appointment in the departments of mechanical engineering and materials science and engineering at Clemson University. He was among this year’s recipients nominated by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE).
