Frozen Yogurt Bark
Oftentimes, those with diabetes are told to refrain from sugary treats. However, it is important to remember that one can find a place for all foods in the diet through practices of moderation. This frozen yogurt bark is a great example of a treat that satisfies one's sweet tooth without blood-sugar busting carbohydrate amount. This bark combines non-fat greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey) and vanilla extract and is then topped with our homemade peanut butter granola and strawberries for the perfect sweet treat.

- 3 cups plain Greek Yogurt nonfat
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup strawberries sliced
- 1/3 cup granola
Add your yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla to a large mixing bowl and combine.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, pour the yogurt mixture onto it and spread in an even layer. Top with the sliced fresh strawberries, and crumble some peanut butter granola over the top.
Pop into the freezer for 3-4 hours or until the frozen yogurt bark has hardened and set. Break into pieces and serve for the perfect, easy dessert.
