Oven-Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Ingredients
  

  • 4 sweet potatoes large
  • ½ tsp salt kosher
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • 2 TBSP canola oil
  • 1 TBSP corn starch

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the spices - salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Also, add the cornstarch and mix well.
  • Slice your sweet potatoes into fries and place them into a large mixing bowl. Toss the fries with the canola oil, spices, and cornstarch.
  • Place the sweet potato fries on the lined baking sheet in a single layer. Once the oven is heated, place the sweet potato fries on the middle rack. Bake for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, flip the sweet potatoes and cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until crisp.
  • Serve while hot with your favorite dipping sauce!

Notes

You can also prepare these fries in an air fryer for an even crispier texture. You may just have to cook them in batches.
