4th Annual REDDI Lab Symposium

The 4th Annual REDDI Lab Symposium is just two months away and we have many great speakers lined up, as well as a fantastic team of event sponsors. As a reminder, the event will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Greenville. Check-in will begin at 11:00AM and the event will last until 6:00PM. Despite the primary focus of the event being public health and infectious disease epidemiology, we are happy to accept abstracts for diagnostics, therapeutics, or genetics-based research for many diseases and disorders.

Event Registration and Abstract Submission

Regarding event registration and abstract submission, we have pushed the deadline back two weeks to September 1st, 2024. Furthermore, we feel it is worth explicitly saying that registration for the event is free thanks to our many event sponsors! If you are interested in attending the event, whether you plan on presenting or not, please follow this link and fill out the Google Form. We still have some poster presentation slots to be filled, so please join us and show us your work! As another reminder, accepted abstracts will be published.

Event Schedule

The symposium schedule is under construction, but will include presentations, guest speakers, coffee breaks, and our networking/poster session. Catering information is also available; we have many options that adhere to a wide variety of dietary needs/preferences.

For the networking/poster session, poster presenters as well as professional booths from our event partners will be interspersed in a reception area. Our goal is to bridge the gap between medical, professional, and academic groups and maximize collaboration between them. As mentioned, this session will be catered.

Event Sponsors

The REDDI Lab is very happy to announce that our event has co-title sponsors in Rymedi, Inc. and Tiger Diagnostics with Dr. Ted Swann! Both organizations have been partnered with the REDDI Lab for about 4 years now and we couldn’t be more excited about their sponsorship.

We are also happy to announce our Clemson University sponsors, including the Department of Bioengineering, the College of Science, and the School of Health Research! We thank our Clemson family for their continued support.

Finally, we want to thank our other event sponsors, including Prisma Health, SalivaDirect Initiative, and Greenwood Genetics Center. Without these partnerships, our event would not be what it is. Sponsor information is also attached to this e-mail for anyone interested.
