In collaboration with Materials Advantage and the Clemson University Makerspace, this talk will cover essential CAD design strategies for 3D and it’s real world applications. Topics include optimizing part design in Solidworks, reducing support material, strengthening parts, and using techniques like threaded inserts and compliant mechanisms with real examples from Keller’s time working in the makerspace and working on engineering projects.
