Schneider NextGen Go Green Competition

This global challenge encourages teams of students to innovate for clean and affordable renewable energy solutions for local communities.

Supported by Schneider Electric’s Youth Education & Entrepreneurship Program and Access to Energy Program, the competition encourages teams of students and young entrepreneurs to develop innovative business models focused on clean and affordable renewable energy solutions for local communities.

What’s the Challenge Theme?

Renewable Energy for Life & Livelihood – We’re focusing on two key areas:

  • Solar Power Agriculture: Create solutions for solar-powered pre/post-harvesting, storage, and processing.
  • Solar Powered Microbusinesses: Innovate for retail, services, refrigeration, manufacturing, and production.

Students’ mission: Embrace our Schneider Electric IMPACT values—Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, and Teamwork—to design solutions that can lead to reliable energy access, improved wellbeing, and increased savings for communities.
