At 1300, after safety briefs and plotting points Cadets took off looking for land navigation points. Juniors worked alone and were given 8 points with the requirement to find at least 5 of those points. Sophomores worked in groups of two and where looking for at least 3 of their possible 5 points. Freshmen were in groups of 4 and led by a Senior, in which the team was given 5 points possible points.
