Tigers United

Moments from Tigers United Week

It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a month since we celebrated Tigers United Week at Clemson University. It was a fun-filled, educational week for our partners and supporters. During the academic summit, our partners discussed ways to expand our existing programs and projects and interesting new initiatives. We look forward to announcing those to you in the coming months.

Friends and community members then joined us for the showing of “Siberian Tiger Quest,” where they were greeted by the Clemson Cub. Everyone enjoyed having photos snapped with The Cub before the movie.

The week culminated with the Tigers United sponsor tent, where guests visited with our leadership; learned more about the plight of the wild tiger and received fun swag for their financial support. We were honored to have a special visit from Clemson University First Lady Beth Clements and Grace Clements before the Clemson-Texas A&M game. Mrs. Clements congratulated the graphic communications students who created our “We Are All Tigers” video that aired on the jumbotron following the first quarter. What a thrill to see the video on the big screen!

It was a wonderful week that brought a lot of awareness to the fact that we’re losing our mascot. While Tigers United Week is complete, our work continues. We need you to maintain your passion for saving the wild tigers and ask others to join you in the fight.
