To protect the safety and health of students and faculty, Clemson University moved all classes online following Spring Break through the end of the 2019 – 2020 academic year. Our School of Accountancy faculty rose to the challenge, quickly learning how to use new tools to deliver a high-quality Clemson experience online. Many of our faculty continued to hold classes synchronously, using Zoom or Webex, while others recorded lectures in advance and posted them online, giving students the flexibility to watch when it was convenient to do so. While we certainly missed the face-to-face contact with our students, the students gained valuable experiences during this process, including learning how to effectively complete tasks while remotely working within a group and presenting information online.
