Dr. Cussatt started his academic career at Washington State University in 2014 after getting his Ph.D. at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Before entering academia, Dr. Cussatt worked for PwC based out of the New York City office.

Dr. Cussatt predominantly conducts archival research focusing on financial accounting topics as well as topics that span the intersection of financial accounting and audit/tax.
