August 8, 2019

Greetings fellow Tigers!

Tomorrow, we will welcome more than 1,000 new alumni to our Clemson family. Students from all seven of Clemson’s colleges will participate in a graduation ceremony at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow in Littlejohn Coliseum. At 3 p.m. this afternoon, a doctoral hooding ceremony for approximately 85 prospective Ph.D. candidates will take place in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. Today’s doctoral hooding and Friday’s graduation will be streamed live for those unable to attend. You can find additional details here.

We are always excited and honored to see Clemson being recognized as one of the best – in more ways than one! The annual Best Colleges guide was released Tuesday, and the Princeton Review ranked Clemson as No. 1 in two categories: best career services and town-gown relations are great. In total, Clemson was ranked among the top 10 colleges in nine categories, the most ever, including:

-Best Career Services (No. 1)
-Town-Gown Relations are Great (No. 1)
-Students Pack the Stadiums (No. 2)
-Everyone Plays Intramural Sports (No. 6)
-Happiest Students (No. 7)
-Best Schools for Internships (No. 7)
-Best Alumni Network (No. 8)
-Their Students Love These Colleges (No. 9)

The Princeton Review chooses colleges based on data it annually collects from administrators at hundreds of colleges about their institutions’ academic offerings. The Princeton Review also considers data it gathers from its surveys of college students who rate and report on various aspects of their campus and community experiences for this project. B- Proud!
As Clemson Tigers, we are proud to be a part of a University that continues to excel – in the classroom and on the field. We know Clemson is special, and while it doesn’t take lists and rankings to tell us this, it is still gratifying to see our hard work, determination and Clemson spirit being acknowledged and ranked as one of the best. Thank you for making a commitment to keep Clemson at the top! It’s because of each of you that we are able to celebrate these accomplishments!

Go Tigers!
