Ms. Jenny Johnson, BSCE 2011, MSCE 2012 is the current President of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Georgia. Johnson represents the first female and the youngest person to hold the role of president in the chapter’s history. As a traffic engineer with Kimley Horn she has led traffic signal optimization services for over 30 intersections and has produced 300 traffic signal permits for the Regional Traffic Operations Program (RTOP) flashing yellow upgrades project. Ms. Johnson is also Chair of the Advisory board for the USDOT Center for Connected Multimodal Mobility, housed in the Glenn Department of Civil Engineering.

Recently, Engineering Georgia Magazine named Johnson as “100 Influential Women to Know”, which highlights key the accomplishments of key community leaders in and around the engineering industry. Jenny stated “I am humbled and honored to be a part of this incredible group of women! The future is bright for women in engineering!”.
