The Board of Trustees is proud to recognize the achievements and contributions of Clemson University’s faculty and staff. The purpose of the Board of Trustees Award for Excellence is to identify and acknowledge faculty and staff whose vision, accomplishments, and efforts have brought honor to Clemson University.
Dr. Brandon Ross, Assistant Professor in the Glenn Department of Civil Engineering received Board of Trustees Award for Excellence as recipient of an NSF early career development grant. Dr. Ross research emphasis is structural engineering.
Dr. Wayne Sarasua, Associate Professor, was recognized as Wilbur S. Smith Distinguished Transportation Educator Award, an award given at the Annual International Institute of Transportation Engineering (ITE) Meeting. He advises the Clemson ITE local chapter that has won many national awards.
