On April 4-6, 2024, the ASCE Carolina’s Student Symposium was hosted by the UNC Charlotte ASCE Student Chapter. The Symposium was well attended by students from across the Carolina’s, and our hosts made sure that everyone had a great time! Our Tigers were no exception!
On behalf of the Clemson ASCE Student Chapter, we extend our deepest gratitude to our alumni and industry partners whose unwavering support has been instrumental in our success this year. Thanks to their generosity, 36 students participated in the ASCE regionals, securing 1st Place Overall at the 2024 ASCE Carolina’s Student Symposium. Our concrete canoe team fought hard and took second to UNCC, but they killed it on the water!

Our chapter’s triumphs are a reflection of the hard work and passion of our students, as well as the invaluable support from our alumni and industry partners. The enthusiasm for ASCE within our department is palpable, and Posillico’s donation of a new canoe trailer and Brasfield & Gorrie’s contribution of company service days have been pivotal in advancing our program and supporting our competition team lab renovations. This collaborative effort has not only led to significant wins but also enriched our students’ learning experiences, preparing them for future professional success. We are excited to build on this momentum and look forward to more achievements in the coming year. Go Tigers!
