The department welcomes Zoraya Rockow to the civil engineering family starting full time this fall as a Lecturer. Ms. Rockow received her BSCE and MSCE from Clemson with an emphasis in construction and is currently working to complete her PhD in the Spring of 2020. Prior to her returning to Clemson, she worked as a Project Manager for industry and government for over 20 years. She has been teaching part-time for the past two years bringing real world applications to the classroom.
Several faculty received promotions this past spring. The climb up the academic ladder is an arduous task and these faculty are deserving of their promotion from Associate Professor to Professor:

Dr. Nigel Kaye
Dr. Weichiang Pang
Dr. Qiushi Chen was also promoted from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor.
