Dr. Ron Falta was among a select group of faculty at Clemson University who were recognized in 2020 for their contributions to university research, scholarship, and artistic achievement. These prestigious awards were created in 2018 to recognize Clemson University faculty who have achieved rare career milestones. In Falta’s case, he was recognized as the 2020 recipient of the John Hem Award for Excellence in Science & Engineering, awarded by the National Ground Water Association. Those earning the University Research, Scholarship and Artistic Achievement Award designation are lifetime members who are invited to an annual gathering to celebrate scholarship and discovery at Clemson University.
