This project will document plants, pollinators, and wildlife in previously forested areas cleared by the storm as well as pre-existing wildlife openings. It will identify critical habitat for targeted management of rare and recreationally important species. The goal is to inform adaptive management and improve habitat for species like golden-winged warbler, monarch butterfly, ruffed grouse, and elk.
