Clemson IE participates in 13th annual symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Healthcare

Clemson University Industrial Engineering was represented at this year’s International Symposium on Human Factors and Ergonomics in Health Care conference, where many faculty and students had a unique opportunity to learn, connect, and contribute to the advancement of healthcare through the application of human factors and ergonomic principles.

Several Clemson professors and faculty attended the conference from March 24-27 in Chicago, IL. 

This year was the 13th annual symposium, which took place in Chicago, IL. 

Dr. Sudeep Hegde presented during the event. 
Steven Foster, a Clemson IE PhD candidate, presented his research “Patient Disposition: A Measure of Physician Caseload During ED Patient Handoffs”. 
Dr. David Neyens, an associate professor in Clemson IE, additionally presented during the conference.
