The Eugene T. Moore School of Education has launched a search for its founding dean. Parker Executive Search has been selected to assist in the recruiting effort. The search committee, which is chaired by Call Me MISTER Director Roy Jones, is asking the campus community to submit nominations and recommendations for the position.
Clemson University, along with 10 other colleges and universities, has been named to the American Council on Education (ACE)’s 11th Internationalization Laboratory Cohort.
The Laramie Project, a play about the reaction to the murder of gay student Matthew Shepard in 1998, will be coming to the Brooks Center Nov 18-22. The President’s LGBTQ task force is organizing a series of events that week to help raise awareness of LGBTQ issues on campus. The task force is asking all faculty to consider devoting a portion of their class time that week to LGBTQ issues as well as to encourage their students to attend the play and associated activities.

As part of the Month of Milestones, we would like to highlight a few items in the museum collection that visitors often find most interesting.
One of the hardest transitions for veterans is the shift from a military to a civilian lifestyle. Clemson University, which was founded as a military college, recognizes that and is providing training for staff, faculty and students on how to help Clemson’s veteran students adjust to life on campus.
