Well-loved associate athletic director Van Hilderbrand closed a 2,015-week (more than 38 years) career with Clemson on March 31, 2015. The longest-tenured employee in the school’s athletic department, Hilderbrand served as the department’s ticket manager, then associate athletic director for event management.
Since 2003, Hilderbrand has been the event manager for over 1,000 Clemson sporting events.
“It has been a great career,” said Hilderbrand. “I have worked for some terrific people in this department and it has been a rewarding experience to work with the Clemson fans all these years.”
