Ft. Hill Street closed July 20-22, Hwy. 93 lane closures July 21-23

Fort Hill to be closed for repaving July 18 – 23

Fort Hill Street, from the Calhoun Mansion to Service Drive, will be closed for repaving Monday, July 18 through Saturday, July 23. No vehicle access will be permitted during this time. Please keep this in mind as you drive around campus and instruct guests on how to navigate campus.

Lane closure on Highway 93 for deteriorated asphalt repair July 20,21, and 22

From July 20 – 22, pavement repair to Hwy. 93 will require a single lane closure to replace deteriorated asphalt. This single lane will be closed in two locations: a section west of Williamson Road and a section east of Williamson Rd adjacent to Riggs Soccer Stadium and Mell Hall parking lot.

The Mell Hall lot will be blocked beginning the evening of July 19 and will be closed from July 20-22.

Traffic speeds will be lowered in the construction area to 15 mph. Please use caution while in the work zone.

As a result of this important paving project, the Mell Hall parking lot will be closing until the work is completed. During the lot closure, Parking and Transportation Services asks permit holders to use alternative parking lots that include the employee section of the Church parking lot across from Mell Hall, the E5 (Fike) parking lot and the E4 (Sirrine) parking lot. Any persons who use accessible parking spaces should use the accessible spaces located in Tillman Circle.
