It’s not too late: Flu shots available

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), this year’s flu season is expected to peak in February and could last into May. The CDC recommends yearly flu vaccinations for everyone six months or older. At the Joseph F. Sullivan Center on campus, faculty and staff who subscribe to the State Health Plan can receive free flu shots.

“Considering the severity of the recent viruses that are circulating—including upper respiratory, severe cough and in come cases secondary infection—it is wise to think about protecting yourself and those around you,” said Director Paula Watt, Ph.D., FNP-BC.
