New employee benefits platform coming to Clemson

This fall, the Office of Human Resources will introduce a new, streamlined benefits management platform for all Clemson faculty and staff. The new platform, Benefitfocus, offers a virtual “one-stop-shop” where faculty and staff will be able to shop for, enroll in and manage many of their benefits all from a customized online portal. The new partnership with Benefitfocus makes Clemson the first higher education institution in the state to offer this enhanced level of service.

With the arrival of Benefitfocus this fall, faculty and staff can expect to experience:

  • greater visibility of available and enrolled benefits,
  • easier changes to their elections throughout the year,
  • a more efficient open enrollment period in October and
  • enhanced online customer service.

Soon, the Office of Human Resources will communicate when Benefitfocus becomes available.
