The annual open enrollment period for Clemson University employee benefits ends Thursday, Oct. 31. Staff and faculty have until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday to make new elections or change their current health coverage and benefits. Changes made during open enrollment will take effect Jan. 1, 2020.
In-person open enrollment support
The Office of Human Resources is offering in-person guidance through the open enrollment process on the new Benefitfocus platform. Staff and faculty in need of open enrollment assistance are encouraged to visit the Administrative Services Building Monday, Oct. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 31, anytime between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (no appointment necessary).* A limited number of laptops and tablets will be available; employees who would like to use their own laptop, tablet or mobile device are encouraged to do so. Please plan to spend about 30 minutes completing the open enrollment process.
Please note: This drop-in support is designated specifically for employees with time-sensitive open enrollment changes. The Office of Human Resources requests that other benefits questions be delayed until after Oct. 31.
*Parking is available in the lots surrounding the Administrative Services building (including the gated lot behind the building). Signage posted around the building will direct you to the front entrance.
