On Monday, Sept. 29, the once gravel parking lot located near the intersection of Cherry Road and Perimeter Road, across Cherry Road from the Life Sciences Building, will open as a newly designed, “eco-friendly,” paved parking lot with 197 spaces. The lot will be known as E-21.

The new lot features rain gardens with native plantings designed by students. Although some of the lot will remain restricted to complete these landscaping projects, a majority of the lot will be available for parking.

When E-21 opens on Monday, the park and ride shuttle will cease operation from the Wren House at the Botanical Garden to East Library Circle.

The Green Route, operated by Tiger Transit, is available for transportation from E-21 to the Hendrix Center and Academic Success Center and it departs at :09, :22, :35, and :56 after each hour. You may also track the bus in real time using Tigerride.clemson.edu.
