Filiberto Mares feels strongly that student engagement can be achieved in and out of the classroom. That’s why the Spanish lecturer, along with his wife, Cristina, opted to live on campus through the Faculty-in Residence program. And now you can too.

University Housing & Dining invites Clemson faculty to apply for the Faculty-in-Residence program.  Now in its fouth year, the successful program offers a great opportunity for a faculty member (and family) to live comfortably on campus and fully engage students in a seamless learning experience outside the classroom.

The program currently have two positions open with one in an apartment area with upper class students and the other in a traditional first-year community.  Serving in the faculty-in-residence role involves regular interaction and support of residents through formal and informal programs, office hours, events, etc.  The position includes a  furnished two bedroom apartment and office. All program details are included in the attached application materials.
