Nu Kappa Street (near the Clemson Alumni Center) has closed in preparation for sitework and material laydown.
Ductbank installation work on Sherman Street is slated to begin Aug. 2. As a result, Sherman Street will be reduced to one-lane during the day with flaggers directing traffic.
Sitework for the re-alignment of Sherman Street is slated to begin on Thursday, Aug. 3. Site work will begin with the removal of the island inside the intersection of Nu Kappa, Sherman, and Hwy 93.
Once the re-alignment of Sherman Street and Hwy. 93 is complete Nu Kappa Street will be permanently closed.
Please use caution when driving on Sherman and avoid this area if possible.
