Clemson invites its faculty and staff to volunteer as facilitators for the 2015 Freshman Summer Reading Program.
On Monday, August 17, Karen Joy Fowler, author of We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, will address the university’s incoming freshman class, along with faculty and staff facilitators. Immediately following her talk, students will break into small groups to discuss the book.
The opportunity to connect with a faculty or staff member in a small group format prior to the beginning of classes can be a powerful one for our incoming students. Program organizers will provide facilitators with the resources needed to lead these discussions.
