Carter Stephen Ainsworth, 22, died Nov. 12. Ainsworth was a senior biological science major from Mt. Pleasant.
“The Clemson family is hurting at the news of Carter’s death,” said Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students L. Christopher Miller. “He will be deeply missed.”
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is providing grief counseling. Students who want to speak to a counselor should contact CAPS at 864-656-2451.
Funeral information
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 405 King Street, Charleston. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5 until 7:30 p.m. in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel.
