Jeanne Andrishok Briggs, Ph.D., research associate with the Clemson University Experiment Station, passed away on March 8, 2018. Briggs had worked for the Experiment Station since April 2017. Previously, Briggs was the nursery manager for the S.C. Botanical Garden and coordinated and managed the Garden’s semi-annual plant sales each fall and spring. She also served as an adjunct professor in the College of Agriculture, Forestry and Life Sciences from 2009-2013.
Jeanne received her B.S. from Clemson University in 1983. She returned to Clemson to complete her master’s degree in horticulture in 1996 and her Ph.D. in horticulture in 2001.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17 in the social room of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Clemson, 230 Pendleton Road. Flowers in her memory would be apprciated.
