W. Anthony Martin, Staff, Parking and Transportation Services

Clemson University mourns the death of W. Anthony Martin, a shuttle driver for Parking and Transportation Services. Martin died January 15, 2023. He had five years of service at Clemson.

Martin is survived by a large family, including his wife, Lora Fisher Martin, and his mother, Monica Martin Kirk, who are both Clemson University employees.

Martin’s celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Anderson, S.C.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is providing grief counseling to students. Any student who wants to speak to a counselor should contact CAPS at 864-656-2451. An after-hours CAPS counselor can be reached by calling 864-656-2451 and selecting option 2 to speak to a counselor.

Counseling services are also available to faculty and staff through ComPysch, the University’s Employee Assistance Program provider, at 866-365-0813.
