Wesley Ray “Mac” McCaskill, 97, of Clemson, passed away June 2, 2023.
He served Clemson University for 29 years as a chemist in Agricultural Chemical Services, starting on January 10, 1955, and retiring on June 30, 1983. He also served his country proudly in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II as a gunner on a B-29.
McCaskill earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, and his master’s degree from Clemson University.
