Assistant Professors Mohammed Daqaq and Gang Li received a research grant totaling $250,000. The project, entitled “A Novel Concept for Micro-Power Generation Using Flow-induced Self-excited Oscillations,” is sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Inspired by music playing harmonica, the project involves designing and optimizing a scalable wind energy harvester.
