This week kicks off National Distance Learning Week – a great event sponsored by the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA)! National Distance Learning Week is an opportunity to recognize the the tremendous growth in online and distance education along with the achievements being made in this area by educational institutions, governments, and businesses.
Last year, Clemson Online hosted a variety of events and keynote speakers to celebrate National Distance Learning Week. This year, we are celebrating by acknowledging the great work that others are doing. As one example, the University of Arkansas is spotlighting students who study or studied online on their news website.
Additionally, South Carolina governor Nikki Haley also has issued an official proclamation for South Carolina Distance Learning Week:
This is a great week and a time to celebrate all the accomplishments being made in online and distance education!
Let us know what your institution is doing or what you think are some of the more compelling accomplishments being made in distance and online education! Use #NDLW in your responses!
Ending the semester well entails examining the course outcomes from multiple perspectives
