The Mentoring Plan requirement has been expanded to include graduate students. Research.gov and Grants.gov will enforce that a Mentoring Plan not to exceed one page is uploaded for proposals when there is funding for graduate students and/or postdoctoral scholars. Refer to PAPPG Chapter II.D.2.i(i). Clemson has resources for Mentoring Plans.

The Office of Compliance and Ethics is hosting the first (annual) Compliance and Ethics week, with events scheduled through Thursday.
Some of these events will offer RCR credit.
Our office will be at a table on Wednesday October 12 in Vickery Hall from 10-11am—stop by for free stuff, meet us (we really are humans), and ask any questions you have about our office.

A reminder that the Division of Research offers a “scan on demand” service for grant proposals—your submission must be entered into InfoEd and the deadline is 1 week or within 1 week of your submission.
Email proposalscans@clemson.edu with your InfoEd record number, and the document as an attachment. We will scan the document in iThenticate and return the results to you.
