PROMOTING ADAPTIVE AND RESILIENT WORKING FORESTS

CSF Extension

This project builds knowledge, strengthens professional capacity, and makes climate-smart forestry easier to put into practice. Project partners bring together research, climate science, Extension, forestry practice, and professional education. Through educational workshops, demonstration tours, extension toolkits, and modular training programs, the project will help extension educators, public- and private-sector technical service providers, and landowners understand and apply climate science and CSF principles. The project will also expand access to science-based, region-specific resources tailored to southern forests. Content will focus on planted and natural forests across the Coastal, Piedmont, and Appalachian-Cumberland ecoregions.
