Orange & Ginger Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb salmon filet
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 TBSP ginger grated
  • 1 TBSP orange zest grated
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 TBSP orange juice freshly squeezed
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat the oven to 400℉ then line a large baking tray with foil.
  • Pat the salmon dry and lay the filet on top of the foil.
  • Add salt and pepper to the salmon.
  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the honey, grated ginger, orange zest, and orange juice. Pour this mixture over the salmon. Place additional orange slices on top of the salmon filet.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily and it reaches an internal temperature of 145℉. You may also turn on the broiler for 2 minutes to caramelize the top of the salmon. Enjoy!
