3rd ANNUAL HOLIDAY HONEY SALE – Nov. 12th & 13th

Honey makes an excellent holiday gift for friends and family!!!

jars of honeySupport the University’s beekeeping and pollinator conservation efforts at the 3rd Annual Holiday Honey Sale, where honey produced in the University’s bee yards is available for purchase! All proceeds support the Clemson Apiculture and Pollinator Program’s honey bee research and education programs and the newly formed Clemson Student Beekeeper Club.

The annual HOLIDAY HONEY SALE is the main fundraising event for the Clemson Apiculture and Pollinator Program (CAPP). CAPP conducts honey bee research and beekeeper training for students, University personnel, and the general public statewide. CAPP manages the University’s bee yards to support honey bee research and extension activities. In addition to providing scientific inquiry and experiential learning, these working bee yards generate honey, and students, along with aspiring beekeepers, participate in caring for the bees as well as harvesting, processing and marketing the honey. All of the honey sold at the Holiday Honey Sale is generated in the University’s bee yards, processed in University facilities with student assistance, and meets South Carolina’s food safety guidelines.

Honey is packaged and sold in three sizes:

  • 12 oz squeezable honey bears are $8.00 each,
  • 24 oz pint jars are $12 each,
  • 48 oz quart jars are $20 each.

We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards on site. Cash transfer apps like Venmo and Zelle will not be accepted. All proceeds support the Clemson Apiculture and Pollinator Program’s research and extension activities and are used to support student involvement in beekeeping and pollinator conservation at Clemson University.

The Holiday Honey Sale booth will be on campus at the horseshoe next to Vickery Hall on November 12th and 13th between 8 am and 5 pm. Supplies are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-orders can be reserved by completing this form before Nov. 10th.

We ask that all pre-orders be picked up at the booth between 8 am and 5 pm on Nov. 12th. Any pre-orders that are not retrieved on the 12th may be sold the following day.

Even if honey is not on your holiday shopping list, you are welcome to stop by our booth to discuss our opportunities to learn beekeeping and experience the wonder of honey bees while at Clemson.
