Lowry 100 Renovation

February 20, 2018

Lowry Hall has received a lot of attention the last few years. Most classrooms have been updated and while new windows and the first floor renovations were underway many faculty, staff and summer classes were displaced for a couple of summers. All classrooms in Lowry received new technology upgrades last summer with new projectors, control panels and new glass boards.  Lowry 100, however, was untouched and was truly a misfit and needed a full makeover. Demo began the day after final exams in May of 2017 and continued through the fall semester.  Fall 2017 was certainly challenging with classes being displaced all over campus.  The renovation of the auditorium was literally top to bottom.  The slope of the floor was changed, an ADA ramp was installed to the stage, new HVAC, new ceiling, new electrical, new lighting, new furniture… new everything!  The finished product looks amazing!

If you come to Clemson, stop by! You will be pleasantly surprised with all the changes. We would love for you to come back “home”.
