Dr. Murray-Tuite joined our civil engineering family this fall. She comes to Clemson from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Her areas of interest an expertise are Evacuation Modeling; Transportation Resilience Analysis; Behavior Modeling; Infrastructure Interdependency Modeling and Analysis; Network Analysis and Design; Transportation Systems Analysis; Risk and Security Analysis; Reliability Analysis; Transportation Planning; Location Analysis; Mathematical Modeling and Optimization; Traffic Flow Analysis; Simulation.

Since joining us, she has traveled to Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma for data collection regarding her research interest in Evacuation Modeling.
