Morgan Werth graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with her B.A. in Sports Communication. She currently is an associate producer for the UFC, as well a sideline reporter for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs, a professional lacrosse team based in Las Vegas, NV.
After working for Clemson Athletics in the video department and other sports and media internships, Morgan Werth accepted a role at ESPN as a production assistant where she worked on coordinating live college sports. From here, she went on to her current position at UFC. Her main roles are to interview fighters, tell and organize stories for broadcasts, and edit content. In addition, Morgan’s work as a sideline reporter has her talking to players and coaches, researching, and collaborating with directors and producers to create scripts and questions for the live broadcasts.
Morgan’s journey both professionally and as a Clemson student has propelled her into the sports world and her career today. She recommends networking as a great way to kickstart job searching and urges students to not be afraid to reach out to connections.
