Eleven student members of our Clemson IE IISE chapter attended the 2025 Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in February. Students attended keynote speeches, panels, and had the opportunity to network with professionals and fellow students
At the conference, senior IE student Jackson Beavers placed 2nd at the technical paper competition for his work with Dr. Sharkey.
In 2026, Clemson IE will be hosting the 2026 IISE Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference.
President-Elect Gillian Banks said in a statement, “We are thrilled to announce that Clemson’s IISE Chapter will host the 2026 Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference next February! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our campus, connect with fellow IE students, and continue the tradition of innovation and excellence in industrial engineering.”
