We are heartbroken to announce that Mr. Sunanth Anand, an Industrial Engineering graduate student, passed away at the age of 23 on Friday, March 20th.
Clemson University students, faculty, and staff convened to begin the healing process on March 23rd, with a Hindu prayer service followed by a counseling session offered by Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Redfern Health Center. We encourage our IE family to consult CAPS personnel for help to get them through this very difficult time.
We also encourage those students who have been most affected by this tragedy to trust in their friends, their faculty, and their community. Talk to each other, and remember Sunanth for the energetic, bright, and positive person that he was. We will all deeply miss him.
