The weather and turnout could not have been better as IE hosted the 2nd Annual IE Tailgate on Friday, September 5th to celebrate and kickoff the fall semester and the home football season. With the atmosphere and anticipation already electric on campus, First Friday was the perfect occasion for the department to treat the students to good ol’ southern style barbecue and fixin’s. A special thank you goes out to everyone who helped plan and support this event as well as to the students and guests who attended and made it a success.
Next year’s event promises to be even bigger and better. Plans are in the works to have the tailgate coincide with the grand opening of the new Freeman Hall Addition and toinclude our Alumni and closest friends.
