CUPD: 2015 Security and Fire Safety Report now available

Clemson University is committed to assisting all members of the Clemson University community in providing for their own safety and security. The 2015 Security and Fire Safety Report compliance document is available on the Clemson University website at http://www.clemson.edu/campus-life/campus-services/cupd/report/index.html.

If you would like to receive the 2015 Security and Fire Safety Report which contains this information, you can stop by the Clemson University Police Department at Centennial Boulevard, Clemson, South Carolina 29634-4012 or you can request that a copy be mailed to you by calling 864-656-2222.

The website and booklet contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, university police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. They also contain information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Clemson University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

This information is required by law and is provided by the Clemson University Police Department.

Issued in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, a federal law originally known as the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, that mandates timely notices to the campus community. The Clery Act is enforced by the U.S. Department of Education.
