Doreen Steiner Geddes, 71, of Seneca, died March 19, 2018. She was an associate professor emeritus in the department of communications studies, who retired in 2009 with 21 years of service. Geddes was a founding member and first chair of the department of communications, serving from 1995 until 2000. She continued to teach one course each semester.
Geddes is survived by her sister, family and friends.
