Clemson University mourns the death of Steven Meadows, Director of the Clemson University Bull Test Program within Clemson University Cooperative Extension. Dr. Meadows passed away on May 9, 2023.
Meadows was hired at Clemson on May 1, 1989, and he was in his 35th year at the University.
Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides grief counseling to students. Any student who wants to speak to a counselor should contact CAPS at 864-656-2451. An after-hours CAPS counselor can be reached by calling 864-656-2451 and selecting option 2 to speak to a counselor.
Counseling services are also available to faculty and staff through ComPysch, the University’s Employee Assistance Program provider, at 866-365-0813.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary, 257 North Main Street, Woodruff, S.C. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary with Pastor Tracy Hamilton officiating.
