Dr. Mohammed Daqaq will be on sabbatical from January 2015 to January 2016. He will be primarily with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at TU Munich, and will also be visiting the University of Roma and several more universities across Europe. His research group is among the first and few in the world that explores the role of nonlinearity on vibratory energy harvesting under stochastic excitations. This is now a critical time for his group to establish international collaborations that will further reinforce their work at an international level and open new horizons for research and funding. The plan is to formulate a 3-way research collaboration between Clemson University, TU Munich, and University of Rome, LaSapienza.
