The Department of Plant Industry conducted its annual spring full staff meeting on March 20, 2023, at the Emeritus College Conference Room in Pendleton, SC. The agenda made a full day of discussions and fellowship. Topics of discussion included: director’s update, administrative updates, National Plant Board discussions, new pests and testing services, citrus update, appreciation awards, and a look back to 2022.

· Kip Beam- Rookie of the Year
· Xiao Yang- Manager of the Year
· Ashley Vaughan- Employee of the Year
After the staff meeting, employees enjoyed fellowship together at Boulevard Lane Bowling Alley in Anderson SC.
